Highly recommended for a top notch service!! We have recently used Mike at MY Wood Designs to source, paint and fit our new front door. From the moment we picked up the phone we felt we were speaking to an extremely knowledgeable and professional individual. Mike will spend the time to talk you through the various options available as well as providing a realistic and well priced quote. Upon completion Mike will ensure the standard of finish is spot on and even cleans up after himself, which can't be said for other tradesmen we've used. I employed Craig to replace 10x internal doors and his service was exceptional. He turned up on time, is polite and worked to his initial deadline. Craig completed laminate flooring for me on Wednesday 22nd and Thursday 23rd July, replacing a worn and tired-looking carpet. There was a fantastic finish to my new laminate flooring. Craig was in communication all the time, offering multiple solutions to any snags or queries along the way, and kept me fully informed throughout the floor laying. Polite and personable, Craig was incredibly helpful, easy to liaise with, and even picked up all of the flooring, underlay, beading and other accessories from a local shop prior to starting the job. The end result was fantastic; a very professional job. I would recommend him highly.

Vale Carpentry designed and fitted our wardrobe for us which was both superbly constructed and looks fantastic. Having new born twins we needed something that would complement the style of the bedroom whilst providing maximum storage ability which I believe was achieved. Wayne is both knowledgeable and amenable and will make helpful suggestions concerning both design and practicality. We compared the wardrobe that was produced for us with the build quality of wardrobes in major department stores and quite simply there is no comparison in terms of build quality and space utilisation. There is no flimsiness of construction and in addition to looking gorgeous the wardrobe was built to last, and so represent fantastic value for money. Vale Carpentry comes very highly recommended.

Gimber Motos in Penarth is possibly the best garage I have ever been to. The staff there are so kind, caring and helpful, which makes for a very pleasant experience. I live in Barry, where there are plenty of garages - but I much prefer to travel down the road to this place where I know I can rely on the service. The manager Andrew Gimber couldn't do enough for me during my visit; making me a nice cup of coffee, and sitting me down to talk me through the problem with my car. When I have taken my car to other garages, I have left feeling like I don't really understand what the problems are with my car. But not at Gimber Motors. Andrew was very polite and was able to explain to me clearly the problem with my carburettor - he gave me a detailed analysis of the mechanics involved, accompanied with diagrams and audio/visual prompts. A brilliant garage, with brilliant customer service and highly professional employees! Will definitely be returning again in the future. Thanks Andrew, and thanks Gimber!

Good garage with friendly staff that are willing to help

Company run by two brothers. Honest as the day is long. I put deposit on car before seeing it in person and was ensured first refusal. They wanted to get it tip top up to their standards before I viewed it. While I waited I was kept informed throughout. Car was still advertised while being prepared and such was the demand they increased the advertised price. When I bought it though they honoured the original lower price and was never any question that they wouldn't. And when buying they updated the V5 and helped me tax it there and then online. Really took the hassle out of it for me. No pressure at any point. If sincerity and trust is as important as the vehicle itself then these guys are for you.

We recently purchased a Honda Civic from Penarth Motor Company. Dusty was very friendly and left us to have a look around the vehicle and take it for a test drive. Would definitely recommend this garage to anyone.

Mark is a gentleman to deal with, i travelled from Scotland so was picked up at the airport, offered a drink on arrival. The car was as described and the deal was very smooth and easy. I’m loving my new A6 avant black edition, with Marks experience and knowledge of cars he is able to select great examples. A true car lover and this can be seen from the cars on his forecourt. I look forward to dealing with these guys again.

Cardiff Trade Sales is an independent business just off Baron's Court. The lot is full of clean and well presented premium vehicles and is a good place to investigate if you're looking to buy a used BMW, Audi, Mercedes-Benz or Volvo. You can look around freely although parking here is very limited and a single lane road is used as a thoroughfare between it, the main road and the car sales place next door. The sales staff will ask if there's anything particular you want to see, will direct you to it and open the vehicle and demonstrate it to you on request but there is no hard sell or any assumptions made based on a snap judgment of you and your circumstances. I appreciated this as a female with a good knowledge of cars who had a pretty good idea of what she needed. I did eventually decide on buying a car here and was able to part exchange my old car without issues. The sales process was pretty straightforward. You may need to allow several days before picking up as the team will arrange for the car to have an MoT check (even if under 3 years old) for safety reasons plus any other add-on services you agree upon at point of purchase (ceramic bodywork coating, Teflon upholstery coating, etc.). After the sale I had a couple of minor niggles with the vehicle which the team worked to resolve. On the whole this was a positive experience and definitely better than the car supermarkets.

Great prices and really excellent customer service. Mike and Lee are extremely helpful, friendly and relaxed and not the usual pushy salesmen. From my first visit, through test drive, purchase and a minor after sales issue, CTS were professional, helpful and responsive throughout. I would recommend them unreservedly to anyone looking for a quality second hand car. You can buy with real peace of mind.

I had 2 cars to be repaired, both with damage to the bumper. Steve comes to your house to carry out the repair, he arrived on time and is a very approachable and down to earth person. The work took a total of 6 hours and both cars were restored to a prestine condition. The price was very reasonable for the time taken and I would definately recommend Steve to anyone with damage to their bumper or paintwork.

Had a job completed by these guys recently when a toilet back filled and spilled into a kitchen of a office. Called and spoke to Racheal on the phone who was ever so help full, polite and professional. I have been so impressed with the level of service I have received from Kitchener & Thomas regarding a Fridge Freezer for my elderly Auntie. Their delivery was exactly to the minute as agreed. They changed over her freezer contents and made sure everything was just right for her. They took the old one to a designated collection area (not close). No rushed job. They have been brilliant.

I live locally and always use for passport photos for all my family and never had any problems. All members of staff are friendly and helpful. Also bought a washing machine /drier which was cheaper than Curry's, Debenhams and Argos, which was amazing!

I was put onto Prassad by my brother who claimed he was fantastic. After having a problem with my C-class and after paying two other people to look at it with just some head scratching as a result I took it to him. With a five minute drive he found the problem straight away , and to my astonishment he told me to wait whilst he repaired it. I was thinking that I might end up with a very expensive repair, but no, after it was repaired a surprisingly small bill. He is a very kind and courteous man and I will certainly have him repair my car again should I need too. If you own a Mercedes, go to him it it cheaper and easier than paying inexperienced people. My brother was right , he is fantastic.

I have been a tenant with ACJ since 2009 and I have always found them to be most professional, helpful and friendly. The engineers themselves were always efficient and friendly, they also offered advice where necessary. My landlord was marvellous and always answered my queries quickly and fairly. I've had my hair cut and coloured by Ashleigh many times and it was perfect exactly how i wanted it, Im not a fan of going to the hairdressers as it's never how I want but Ashleigh exceeds my expectations every time!!

I found Ashleigh very friendly and accomodating. I was let down by my hairdresser the night before a wedding and Ashleigh came to my rescue and managed to fit me in for a cut and colour. Would definately highly recommend :)

My original contact was via the Activequote website. Response to my query was timely. When I called with further questions, agent Leanne Ross spent time walking me through what insurance could and couldn't do for me (I have a pre-existing condition). As an expatriate, I was clueless where to even start; Leanne was patient and very informative even with basic healthcare information. I didn't commit at that original call, and she was not at all pushy. Still not having committed after a couple of months, but having a bit better understanding of the system, I called back and again talked with Leanne. This time I knew I wanted private insurance, but unsure how to narrow the field. She helped immensely by pointing out beneficial aspects particular to our situation that went with several policies... and then left the decision among our short-list to us. When we decided, the policy started at the date of our choice, and the paperwork arrived in a timely manner. Overall, I couldn't be more pleased with the service (and patience) I received. John was flawless from start to finish. He is polite, explained everything about the mortgage we wanted to know and always replied to any queries. His attention to detail and pride in his work shone through and inspired us with confidence, so that when the mortgage was approved in principle with the first lender we were not surprised. Kamil did a fantastic job for us. He wallpapered two feature walls, stained our stair handrails and sanded down and primed door linings and architrave. He arrived on time was polite and worked solidly, carefully and quietly all time. His work is to a very high standard and we were totally thrilled. I would definately recommend him

As soon as I saw Kate’s natural style of photography we just knew we had to have her for our special day! From the word go we felt every confidence that Kate would be fantastic for our day. Her organisation on the day was excellent and it was important there was structure of time for the whole day , so we met up with Kate before hand to discuss our schedule, she followed everything down to the last t. Our whole day was perfect. Even in a little drizzle our photographs are so colourful without looking artificial and “photo shopped” like many are today. When we saw our photos we couldn’t believe how beautiful she made it all look. We have recently received our photo album from Kate and we were blown away all over again. It’s is outstanding the quality and the finish is second to none. Once your day is over all you have left are your memories and photos,I highly recommend investing in an exceptional album with such high quality . It will be like nothing you’ve ever seen before . Apart from receiving the best service and product from Kate , she is also the kindest sweetest lady you will ever meet. She was a pleasure to have around on the morning of the wedding, getting ready with all the girls and the most organised boss lady to make sure every shot was captured.! Katrina at shutter hire took my sons new born photos, and I will cherish them forever. They are stunning, beautiful, just absolutely perfect. A little hidden gem to say the least. I have ordered from this takeaway several times. On every occasion the food provided was faultless, super flavourful and the staff were very accommodating to a few specific changes I required to some dishes ordered due to my personal diet. So much so, I have booked them to cater for a future event of mine! Baring in mind i had asked them fairly last minute yet they were still more than happy to provide their services.

Supposedly cooked fresh and yet the chef refuses to cook without onions in a chicken korma even when a customer is onion intolerant. Pro-Chicken tikka very good. Cons-price, delivery time, unable to cater for customers even though it's supposedly cooked fresh.

I initially had a front door speaker die in my BMW 2 series and rang BMW for a quote.
